T3 Antimony Composite Flame Retardant Powder

T3 is an advanced antimony composite flame retardant designed to replace antimony trioxide in bromine–antimony systems. It uses a high-purity antimony formulation with improved dispersibility and high thermal resistance. T3 delivers equivalent or better flame-retardant performance than ATO at lower cost while maintaining whiteness, stability, and compatibility across a wide range of polymers. Its fine particle size supports uniform dispersion in cable insulation, plastics, rubber compounds, and engineering polymers.

Attributes

Key Features and Benefits

  • One-to-one ATO replacement provides equal flame-retardant performance without formulation changes.
  • Thermal stability ≥400 °C enables use in high-temperature polymers including PA, PBT, and ABS.
  • High whiteness (≥96) supports light-coloured and transparent applications.
  • Fine particle size (2–5 μm) improves dispersion and bromine synergy.
  • Cost-efficient performance due to lower dose cost compared to ATO.
  • Non-discoloring behaviour protects finished product appearance.
  • Low dust and non-toxic formulation meets RoHS and REACH requirements.
  • Broad compatibility with halogenated and non-halogenated flame-retardant systems.
